Its founder, Tomàs Llusera Fortuny , soon expanded the business, offering a small range of precast concrete products, a true innovation for the time.The company's sustained growth led to the subsequent acquisition of the LERIPRESA plant in Tàrrega and the VITUC plant in Soses, which allowed for an expanded product range and a stronger presence in the public works market. In 1999 , Funductil , a company specializing in ductile iron products for urban development projects on public and private roads, was incorporated .In 2007 , the three historic companies — CAFISOL (formerly PAISA), VITUC , and LERIPRESA — merged to form the current GLS Group , now managed by the third generation of the Llusera family .
